Celtic Seatrout Project - Update by Willie Roche
The meeting last night was well attended with Willie Roche giving an excellent update on the progress of the Celtic Seatrout Project. He reminded us that scale samples of seatrout caught in the Currane System in 2011 are still very much needed for the ongoing research. The sampling packs, which contain all the necessary information, scale envelopes etc. are now available in the Waterville Angling Centre, or through the secretary (see contacts). As an added incentive to persuade us to take the samples the Celtic Seatrout Project is offering prizes to those who submit the most samples!
